It's crazy hot out there. My husband just told me that this July was the hottest month recorded in the human history. In the heat like that you don't want to eat, you just want to stick your face in the refrigerator and stay like this for hours even though it sounds uncomfortable.
Therefore i came up with breakfast option that you can drink. It is fast, nutritious and cooling - not to mention in season. You can use whatever gets you going as a base; milk, soy milk, almond milk or yogurt. I am using plain french style yogurt from Saint Benoit creamery.
- Hand full of each: blackberries, raspberries, ripe black figs
- 1 peach
- 1 TBS flax seeds
- 1 TBS goji berries (save some for garnish)
- 1/2 CUP organic french style yogurt
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and Voila!
